Dear patients and carers,
Most people will be aware of the emerging situation with COVID-19 in NSW and the latest stay at home orders for some areas.
While Newcastle does not have stay-at-home orders; we are all living with updated restrictions that may impact your visit to Beechnut Medical Rooms.
People who have been in Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong on or after 21 June should follow the stay-at-home orders for a period of 14 days after their return home. To keep everyone safe, Beechnut Medical Rooms will request anyone subject to stay-at-home orders to stay home. Telehealth and Zoom consults will be available if that means you are unable to attend for your face-to-face appointment.
Limits on internal gatherings and compulsory indoor mask wearing is now enforced in regional NSW. We will be asking you to wear a mask while at the Rooms.
There will be increased cleaning and you may be asked to wait outside (weather permitting) or in your car so that we can all safely social distance.
You can expect that all private hospitals that we work in will have increased screening measures as well. We will endeavour to keep you updated with all developments that may affect our service to you.
Your feedback is always welcome, so if there is anything we can do to provide more clarity or reassurance please call us on 49100591 or email at reception@beechnutmedical.com
