Dr Savannah Morrison is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist who works as a Staff Specialist at John Hunter Hospital. After earning distinction in her medical degree from the University of New England joint medical program, Savannah completed advanced training in gastroenterology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Dr Morrison completed her interventional endoscopy fellowship at John Hunter Hospital, followed by a further fellowship in interventional endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Thailand.
Dr Savannah Morrison Now Accepting New Referrals
Beechnut Medical Rooms is pleased to advise that Dr Savannah Morrison has open books, with appointments available for new patients from 1 August 2026.
GP referrals are welcome from Newcastle and throughout the Hunter region.
Dr Morrison will also be consulting monthly in Nelson Bay. Clinic dates for the remainder of 2026 are:

Referrals from Port Stephens GPs are welcome and can be sent to Beechnut Medical Rooms, where our team will arrange appointments for the Nelson Bay clinics.
