To all our valued patients, referrers and contacts we want to let you know, we understand how worried everyone is. The situation around the corona virus has progressed very quickly. We are doing our best to stay in touch with everyone that has an appointment or procedure booked in the near future.
We are a small team and some phone lines have become unavailable due to the increased volume of calls across Australia. We always check email so please feel free to send your question to reception@beechnutmedical.com
We have been continuing to operate some small clinics in a planned and careful way. However, people over 70, or immunosuppressed or with any respiratory health concerns should remain at home. Telephone consultations are available to anyone that would like them regardless of your circumstances.
Elective surgery (that covers all our theatre lists) has been announced as cancelled from midnight on 25th March. We are awaiting further guidance around urgent cases and if these can proceed. We will communicate as soon as there is further clarification on this.
Please do not start bowel prep for any procedure until we contact you to confirm.
No one should attend Beechnut Medical Rooms if you have travelled overseas recently, have a temperature over 37.5 degrees or dry cough and sore throat.
We will keep updating our webpage and social media with information and clarification as soon as we have it . Please bear with us at this time as our volume of enquire are considerably higher than normal but all enquires are important to us.
